Michael & Gabriella's Story
Our journey began in a place of pain, but through our creation, we hope to bring some peace to other families during their most difficult times
Pure Keepsakes was born out of an unimaginable heartache. In September 2024, our lives were forever changed when we lost our precious baby boy, Otis Josiah Cohen, who was born sleeping. The grief and sadness were overwhelming, but amidst this sorrow, we found ourselves facing another painful challenge; finding a fitting urn to honour Otis.
The process, already difficult and heart-wrenching, became even more stressful as we searched for something simple, pure, and beautiful enough to represent our son. Every urn we found seemed too elaborate, too impersonal, or simply not right. We struggled to find one that captured the innocence and purity of Otis and his short but meaningful life.
In that moment, we realised that we weren’t alone. There are other parents going through the same painful experience, unable to find a memorial that is truly fitting. With that in mind, we made the decision to create something ourselves; a keepsake that would be a true reflection of love, purity, and remembrance.
Thus, Pure Keepsakes was born. We designed and created an urn that was simple, elegant, and, most importantly, a fitting tribute to our baby boy. We poured our hearts into every detail, creating an urn that felt as pure and innocent as Otis.
At Pure Keepsakes, our mission is to ensure no other parents have to go through the emotional strain of searching for a pure and simple yet meaningful memorial urn for their child. We want to provide a source of comfort for grieving families, offering products that represent innocence, purity, love, and the lasting memory of their little ones.
